Hi Yoni,
Welcome. Even though SUNUNET is a Senegalese Diaspora organization that aims to create and empower global support systems for members of the Senegalese Diaspora, as a US based not for profit organization, we are very happy to count you as a member. In fact, since you spend some times in Senegal, your insights will help us to better see our weakness and strength. What we learn from each other will certainly be life altering.
Thank you
This spring, AKWAABA, the Princeton African Student Association, would like to partner with to supplement a mentoring program that involves academically at-risk children of African immigrants from the various districts New York City. Every Saturday a group of ten Princeton students will take a train to Harlem, New York where they will meet a group of 25 middle/high school students and their parents. From here, the students from Princeton will serve as escorts, tour guides and mentors. Every weekend the group will visit a new museum (i.e. Natural History, MOMA, MET, etc) with the goal of opening their eyes to new experiences and new avenues for knowledge.
